Zero Carbon Habitat (ZCH) was established in 2008 as a joint venture between Local and German professionals, who strongly believed the world needs to go “Clean & Green” for sustainable growth. The strategy was to adopt established yet differentiated and proven solutions in Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Resource Recovery for sustainable developments.

  • Low Kian Beng

    Founder | Director

    Mr. Low Kian Beng (KB) is an experienced executive in the environmental and renewable sectors. Formerly Executive Director at Memiontec, he led its SGX listing, later serving as Senior Advisor until his retirement in 2023. Founder of Zero Carbon Habitat, Low has also held CEO roles at ecoWise, SP Corporation, and Envipure.

  • Dr. Steve Lai

    Senior Advisor

    Dr. Steve Lai is a seasoned executive and board member with leadership positions across various industries. Served on the boards of listed companies Yongmao Holdings and Intraco Ltd and currently on boards of listed 17LIVE Group Ltd and CSC Holdings Ltd and private companies Singapore Power & Gas Institute and 3D Media School, he is a former CEO of PSB Academy and PSB Technologies.

    Ivan Chew is a construction professional with 30+ years of experience. A Civil and Structural Engineering graduate, he has led teams of up to 500 staff and delivered significant growth. He currently serves as the Sole Director of BPL Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd and he excels in project turnarounds and international market expansion.

    Yee Yang (YY) is a technology enthusiast and tinkerer. He holds a PhD in Deep Learning / AI from NTU Singapore. YY led the technical team at inspections.ai, developing an end-to-end visual AI system for safety hazard detection on constructions sites.
